Jessica Phillips is a long-time Texas resident who is sold out to Jesus, her family, chips and salsa, reading great who-done-its, and attempting to find the perfect contouring palette. Her favorite coping mechanism is humor and she claims to never have spoken in tongues, however, she admits to speaking fluent sarcasm and snark.
Jessica is part of a fierce tribe of incredible women and men in her church and she has served alongside them for 18 years. Her obedience to the Lord has helped start and shape the SheTribe Women’s Ministry, inspiring women in her church and community to learn more about the Lord and how to walk out their faith beyond any and every boundary. SheTribe is now engaging women in God’s Word in three cities in west Texas (Odessa, Andrews and Monahans).
Jessica is a dedicated wife to her husband of fourteen years, Brad, and a doting mama to her mini-me, Emery Noel. Saying “yes” to Jesus has opened the doors for Jes to share God’s transforming power with others. She believes that transformed lives transform lives. And she intends on making certain the next generation of women are ready to lead through their gifts. She encourages women with her witty sense of humor and honesty through her blog.
Jessica speaks candidly about the battles that have come in her own life. Out of her own deeply examined experiences she is able to speak with love, vulnerability and authority about subjects that range from suicide, infertility, grief/loss, redemption, marriage, parenting, leadership, women in ministry and women in leadership. Jessica has written a bible study on the book of “Ruth”.
Jes would love to spend time with your women’s group through speaking, teaching and/or mentoring. Please contact Jes to schedule time with your group!
